Bennert Smit

Bennert Smit is a visiting Masters student from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU Eindhoven), the Netherlands.  During his undergraduate studies, he majored in Applied Physics with a specialization in Nanotechnology and Engineering. He will be spending a three month research internship in our group, studying chiral magnetic multilayer films.  Bennert is particularly interested in electrical transport properties beyond the adiabatic limit: he is currently developing apparatus to measure the topological Hall effect in extremely high current densities.
