Magnetization reversal signatures of hybrid and pure Néel skyrmions in thin film multilayers

Using the First Order Reversal Curve technique combined with micromagnetic simulations, we reveal experimental signatures enabling us to assess the stability of pure Néel skyrmions in magnetic multilayers.  Our work is published in APL Materials and provides a helpful tool for researchers in thin film magnetism to rapidly characterize new materials with complex spin topology.
